Former Inter Milan and AC Milan forward Antonio Cassano believes Manchester City will play the Nerazzurri in this season’s Champions League final.

Cassano argued this point speaking in a recent episode of ‘Bobo TV’ on Twitch, as reported via Milan based Inter Milan news-site FcInterNews.

The former Real Madrid forward believes his former club will come up short against Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City ahead of tonight’s Champions League semifinal first leg clash between the two sides at the Stadio Santiago Bernabeu.

The former Italy and AC Milan forward also added that he both thinks and hopes that another one of his former sides, Inter Milan, wins the other semifinal clash due to having more quality.

“I think City will beat Real, and in the other semifinal, I believe Inter will go through, and I hope they do.

“Inter has more players with more quality, and they’re in much better form. I think they’ll draw 1-1 in the first leg, and then Inter will win 2-0 in the second leg” Cassano stated.

Inter Milan 2-0 Win Over Roma ‘An Awful Game’

Cassano was not too impressed with the quality of the Serie A match this past weekend, when Inter Milan overcame Roma at the Stadio Olimpico by 2-0.

Furthermore, Cassano believes Edin Dzkeo will start for Inter Milan against AC Milan based on how Simone Inzaghi set his team up in the win over José Mourinho’s Giallorossi.

“Until the 60th minute, it was an awful game, even though Inter was leading 1-0. It was a dirty game, lots of fouls, lots of things I didn’t like.

“The game was over at 2-0, but neither team excited me. We know how Roma plays, and for 60 minutes, I didn’t see Inter play well.

“When they raised the tempo, they had some ideas, unlike Roma. Inter won deservedly, but they didn’t excite me.

“I think Dzeko will play [against Milan], and the way he managed the last game leads me to believe that he’ll be on the pitch. With Dzeko, they’ll focus more on game management and ball possession.
