Former A.C. Milan and Inter Milan star Christian Vieri claims that the Nerazzurri are in the best form they’ve been in so far this season and therefore will reach the UEFA Champions League Final.

The former Lazio and Atletico Madrid player made these comments during Bobo TV alongside former players Daniele Adani, Antonio Cassano, and Nicola Ventola, as reported by FCInterNews.

Christian Vieri believes that Inter’s current form is enough to see them through past local rivals A.C. Milan and into the UEFA Champions League.

“Inter have been doing well during the last few games because they have been all or nothing games and that they are going through their best form of the season.

“They will win 1-0 in the first leg, and I will let you know about the second leg in a few days,” said Vieri.

The former Inter player thinks that Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku and Argentinean striker Lautaro Martinez should start upfront for the Nerazzurri.

“I don’t know who to put in alongside Lautaro against Milan, but I would put in [Lukaku],” concluded Vieri.

The former Torino and Juventus player spent the majority of his career with Inter. He spent six years with the Nerazzurri and made one hundred and forty-three appearances and scored one hundred and three goals. He also won a Coppa Italia with Inter during the 2004-05 season.
