Engineering company Techint Group categorically denies any interest in buying Inter Milan, refuting all rumors in this regard.
As explained by FcInterNews, The company released a statement to address recent rumors reported by Il Giornale.
Techint is an Argentine company founded by Agostino Rocca in 1945 and has headquarters in Milan and Buenos Aires.
However, Nerazzurri supporters shouldn’t worry about it too much, as the rumors linking it to their club remain unfounded, at least based on the company’s recent statement.
“With regards to what appeared in some press outlets, we specify that the news of an interest by Gianfelice Rocca in the ownership of the football club Fc Internazionale Milano are devoid of any foundation and for this reason must be strongly denied”, reads the statement.
For the time being, Inter Milan remains in the hands of Suning Group, with Steven Zhang serving as the club’s chairman.
The Chinese group bought the club in 2016 from Erick Thohir who found little success during his time at the helm of the Nerazzurri.
Although Inter managed to win a host of trophies under the ownership of Suning, the company’s complicated financial situation could prompt them to sell their shares in the club, so it remains to be seen if a genuine buyer will lunge forward in the coming months.
