Inter Milan owned Italian striker Gaetano Oristanio is being tracked by two newly promoted teams to the Serie A for next season.
This according to Milan based Inter Milan news-site FCInterNews, who report that the striker has caught the eyes of both Frosinone and Genoa, who just were recently promoted to the Serie A from Serie B.
Gaetano Oristanio had a choice between other Italian teams before deciding to join the Nerazzurri due to the club showing a keener interest in him he said recently in an interview, the report continues.
“I could have went to Roma or Juventus, but I like Inter’s project where they showed more interest in me,” said Oristanio.
The youth player has been playing in the Netherlands for the past two seasons and achieved promotion with Volendam to the Eredivisie.
According to the report, Inter Milan are looking to keep a closer eye on Oristanio’s development after his loan spell aboard, which is why they are keen for the player to play in Serie A.
The Inter-owned youth player made twenty-four appearances for Voldendam so far this season and contributed one goal and two assists.
Oristanio also collected four yellow cards and one red card.
