Inter Milan’s Croatian midfielder Marcelo Brozovic is favoured to start over Turkish midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu in tonight’s UEFA Champions League Semi Final first leg against local rivals A.C. Milan.

This according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport last night, as reported by Milan based Inter Milan news-site FCInterNews.

Inter Milan manager Simone Inzaghi is deciding between the two midfielders to start in the deep-lying midfield playmaker role against the Rossoneri this evening.

According to the report, it appears that the Croatian midfielder has the advantage over his Turkish teammate after the latest training session.

Inzaghi has no doubts about for the rest of his starting lineup, as the back three in defence will be Matteo Darmian, Francesco Acerbi, and Alessandro Bastoni with Andre Onana starting in between the posts.

Nicolo Barella and Henrikh Mkhitaryan are the two known midfielders that are expected to start with Federico Dimarco and Denziel Dumfries as the wingbacks.

According to the same report, Edin Dzeko and Lautaro Martinez are expected to start upfront. Kick-off is scheduled at 21.00 CET at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.
