Inter Milan club directors Beppe Marotta, Piero Ausilio, and Dario Baccin were present in training today ahead of tomorrow evening’s Champions League clash with AC Milan.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews, who report that the trio attended the session in recognition of how important tomorrow’s semifinal second leg is for the team’s season.

Inter are now less than 24 hours away from a season-defining match.

Tomorrow’s Milan derby will have a place in the Champions League final at stake. Even in spite of a subpar Serie A campaign for both derby rivals, European glory is still on the table.

Inter are well aware of how much they’re playing for tomorrow evening.

Accordingly, today’s training session had a somewhat tense atmosphere. Everyone in the team and staff is giving 100% to be prepared for tomorrow. Inter have a 2-0 advantage from the first leg, but they know that nothing is done yet.

Trio Of Inter Milan Directors With The Squad Ahead Of AC Milan Clash

Apart from the squad and coaching staff, Inter’s directors also decided to show up to today’s session.

CEO Beppe Marotta was at the session, as were Sporting Director Piero Ausilio and Assistant Sporting Director Dario Baccin.

The trio wanted to show their support for the players. The Nerazzurri directors want the squad to fully feel the support of the club behind them.

It has been a tough season for Inter in many respects.

The Nerazzurri have had to watch on as spectators as Napoli have marched to the Serie A title. As recently as last month Inter were teetering on the brink of missing out on top four in the table.

However, the memory of eleven defeats in Serie A can be erased in the Champions League. Marotta, Ausilio, and Baccin were present to emphasize the significance of the occasion.
