Both of Inter Milan and AC Milan would be hugely impacted by earnings from reaching the Champions League final.

This is highlighted in today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews. The newspaper note that both the Nerazzurri and the Rossoneri would bring in a windfall of well over €100 million from the final.

As Tuttosport note, both of Inter and Milan are already on the cusp of earning €100 million in total from the Champions League. This includes both prize money and gate receipt earnings.

For the Nerazzurri, this evening’s record-breaking €12 million gate receipt will take their total earnings to €98 million. Meanwhile, the Rossoneri have already brought in €99 million.

Inter are set to smash their city rivals’ gate receipt record from last week by around €2 million. However, Milan’s earnings have been slightly higher due to qualifying for the competition as Italian champions.

Meanwhile, the Nerazzurri have a higher ten-year UEFA ranking than their city rivals, also factored into earnings.

UCL Windfall Massive For Both Inter Milan & AC Milan

The financial boost of reaching the Champions League final has already been huge for both Inter and Milan.

The Nerazzurri’s financial issues are well-known. Meanwhile, the Rossoneri are also working within fairly tight financial margins.

As such, the big unexpected revenues from the Champions League change the picture for both clubs. This is likely to already be evident in the upcoming summer transfer window.

A place in the final would be more than just a cherry on top, though.

Whichever team reaches the final after this evening’s semifinal second league would earn an additional €12.5 million.

Then, if either club were to beat one of Manchester City or Real Madrid in the final, they would earn an additional €4.5 million. On top of this, there would be around €3.5 million taken in from participation in next season’s European Super Cup.
