Man City midfielder Bernardo Silva isn’t predicting a straightforward match against Inter Milan in the Champions League final.

Speaking to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews, the 28-year-old praised the Nerazzurri’s defensive organization and quality on the counterattack.

Inter will certainly know the size of their task coming up against this Manchester City team.

Pep Guardiola’s men blew away Real Madrid in the second leg of their Champions League semifinal tie yesterday. Coming against the reigning Champions League holders, this was some statement.

Moreover, domestically the Cityzens look to have seen off a very impressive Arsenal team to defend their Premier League crown.

The Nerazzurri will feel that this City team may well be the most formidable opposition they’ve ever faced.

On the other side of things, Guardiola’s team will not be underestimating this Inter side.

The Nerazzurri dispatched Barcelona in the group stage already this season. Knockout victories over Porto, Benfica, and AC Milan have been further testaments to their quality.

Moreover, Inter put in very strong displays against Real Madrid and Liverpool last season, despite being on the losing end on those occasions.

Man City Star Bernardo Silva Not Underestimating Inter Milan

City midfielder Silva was his team’s hero from the right wing yesterday. The Portuguese former Monaco man produced a stellar display and scored twice as they demolished Real.

He spoke to Sky about the prospect of facing Inter in the Champions League final afterwards.

“I wateched Inter yesterday,” he said. “They’re a very organized team defensively.”

“I also watched them in the group stage, in the two matches against Barcelona, and then also against Benfica,” he continued. “They’re a great side, and also very organized in attack.”

“They’re also good on the counterattack and good positionally. It’ll be a tough match, but we’ll go for it.”
