A banner threatening Inter Milan wingback Federico Dimarco has been posted near his home.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInter1908, who report that the banner was unveiled outside the 25-year-old’s house in Milan due to chants he made after Inter beat Milan to reach the Champions League final.

Dimarco celebrated with Inter ultras in the Curva Nord section of the San Siro by leading chants.

This was a repeat of what he did when celebrating the Supercoppa Italiana win in January.

He led the Nerazzurri fans in the stands through a number of chants.

The 25-year-old has a unique relationship with the Inter fans.

Dimarco is born and raised in Milan, supporting the Nerazzurri since he was a child.

Dimarco came through the youth ranks at Inter, and after a number of loan spells, has established himself in the first team.

Accordingly, Dimarco represents boyhood Nerazzurri fandom within this Inter squad.

Anti-Rossoneri Chants By Inter Star Dimarco Don’t Please AC Milan Fans

According to FCInter1908, as part of Dimarco’s celebratory chanting, the wingback made some anti-AC Milan chants.

One in particular was aimed at the hardcore Rossoneri faithful in the Curva Sud fans.

Not surprisingly after Inter knocked Milan out of the Champions League, this did not go over too well with fans of the Rossoneri.

Milan supporters who were angered by the Nerazzurri star’s chants posted a banner near his home.

FCInter1908 report that the banner was clearly aimed at the 25-year-old’s post-derby chants last week.

The banner read, “Dimarco – focus on playing, or we’ll make you swallow your tongue.”

Since, Dimarco took to social media to apologize for those chants.
