Man City can boast a squad worth nearly twice that of their Champions League final opponents Inter Milan.

This is highlighted in today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews, based on Transfermarkt estimates.

Inter are widely expected to face an uphill battle against this Manchester City team.

The Cityzens showed just how unstoppable they can be with their 4-0 demolition of Real Madrid at the Etihad on Wednesday.

This is down to a lot of factors. The tactical approach of coach Pep Guardiola has certainly given this City team a unified vision.

The quality of the squad is also a major factor. In every position and also in terms of depth, this City side is laden with technical quality and physicality of the highest level.

Man City Squad Dwarfs Inter Milan In Value

Tuttosport take a look at the respective valuations of City’s and Inter’s squads, per Transfermarkt.

The newspaper note that whilst the Nerazzurri’s comes in a a respectable 527.8 million total value, City’s absolutely blows it out of the water with a total valuation of 1,051,250,000 – over a billion euros.

That’s not all. Tuttosport also note that City’s five most valuable players – Erling Haaland, Phil Foden, Bernardo Silva, Kevin de Bruyne, and Rodri are worth 520 million. This nearly equals Inter’s entire playing squad.

In terms of individual comparisons across the pitch, Transfermarket consistently give City the edge.

Cityzens goalkeeper Ederson is valued at 45 million. Menawhile, Inter’s Champions League hero Andre Onana is mooted to be worth only 20 million.

City backup keeper Stefano Ortega is valued at 6 million, and Onana’s deputy Samir Handanovic at just 1 million.

The biggest gap is in attack.

City striker Haaland is valued at a mammoth 170 million. This is hardly surprising given the record-breaking campaign that the Norwegian is enjoying.

Haaland’s opposite number Lautaro Martinez is valued at less than half that by Transfermarkt. The Argentine is worth 80 million.
