Striker Romelu Lukaku and midfielder Marcelo Brozovic are set to start for Inter Milan against Napoli this weekend.

This according to today’s print edition of FCInterNewsMilan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via , who report that the pair will be among the changes made to the Nerazzurri’s starting eleven for Sunday evening’s Serie A clash.

Neither of Lukaku not Brozovic had started for Inter against AC Milan in the Champions League on Tuesday.

However, both of the pair did come off the bench in that semifinal second leg win.

Midfielder Brozovic came off the bench for Henrikh Mkhitayran. The Armenian suffered a thigh injury towards the end of the first half, and Brozovic replaced him ably.

Meanwhile, Lukaku came on in the second half, and also had quite an impact. The 30-year-old Belgian international set up Lautaro Martinez for the Nerazzurri’s winner on the night.

Lukaku & Brozovic Among Rotated Inter Milan Lineup Vs Napoli

According to the Gazzetta, both of Lukaku and Brozovic will be in Inter’s starting eleven to face Napoli.

Nerazzuri coach Simone Inzaghi has been rotating his squad heavily from match to match in recent weeks.

This is also set to be the case on Sunday. The coach wants to put out a team that’s fresh. Moreover, the Gazzetta note, Inzaghi is emphasizing keeping the tension high despite the celebrations of reaching the Champions League final.

The coach is hoping that Lukaku and Brozovic will add a different dimension and fresh energy to the team.

Both of Lukaku and Brozovic have endured injury-hit campaigns to date.

Each of the pair had come into the season expected to be among the most important players in Inter’s squad. However, both missed significant time with muscle injuries.
