Matias Vecino scored a massively important goal against Lazio for Inter Milan in 2018.

The Uruguayan’s goal against the Biancocelesti, for whom he now plays, delivered Champions League football to Inter.

The Nerazzurri narrowly pipped Lazio to a top four spot on the final day of the 2017-18 season. Now, after a five year journey, Inter are in the final of the competition.

The club shared a clip of Vecino’s goal against Lazio on their official Instagram, five years after it happened.

They captioned the post, “Back to the moment we returned to the Champions League.”
