Fiorentina coach Vinenzo Italiano feels that Inter Milan have a top team, but that La Viola can cause them problems.

Speaking to Italian broadcaster SportMediaset ahead of tomorrow evening’s Coppa Italia final, via FCInterNews, the Viola coach made clear that his team want to give the Nerazzurri a difficult match even though they’re well aware of the quality that they’re up against.

Inter and Fiorentina have both done very well to reach this far.

The Nerazzurri dispatched Parma, Atalanta, and then Juventus to book their place at the Stadio Olimpico tomorrow evening.

Meanwhile, Fiorentina got past Sampdoria, Torino, and Cremonese.

Neither of the two teams have been perfect throughout the season. However, both of the pair have managed to brush their setbacks aside.

Both Inter and Fiorentina have been in some of their very best form in the past few weeks.

Both have reached European finals – Inter the Champions League and Fiorentina the Europa Conferenfe League.

Before they can get to that point, however, the two teams will have one another to contend with as they fight for a major piece of silverware.

Fiorentina Coach Vincenzo Italiano: We Want To Cause Inter Milan Problems

“They’re a very tough obstacle for us,” Italiano said of facing Inter. “But we’re trying to prepare for them calmly.”

“We’re happy with what we’ve done, with the team’s path of growth to reach this final,” the Fiorentina coach continued.

“We’ll play another final on June 7, but right now we’re focusing on this one,” he continued.

“We’re up against a very strong opponent,” Italiano said of facing the Nerazzurri. “We all know what they’re capable of.”

“But we will try to give ourselves a chance, and our goals is to cause problems for them.”

Italiano continued that “We’re facing a team who are in the Champions Legaue final. A team full of top players, in great form.”

“They have some advantages over us, but it’s a one-off match,” he continued. “We have every chance of winning it.”

“Our goal is to cause them problems,” Italiano stressed again. “We want to win the Coppa. We’ll do our best.”
