Inter Milan are reportedly in “advanced talks” with an unnamed airline to become their new main shirt sponsor next season.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the Nerazzurri are in ongoing negotiations which are getting close to an agreement with the potential new shirt sponsor.

It has been clear for some time that Inter will have a new shirt sponsor starting next season.

The Nerazzurri have been playing without a sponsor on the front of their shirts for around a month now. This came after the decision to remove the logo of cryptocurrency company DigitalBits.

The situation with DigitalBits became calamitous for the Nerazzurri. The company has been unable to pay any of the amount owed for this season on their sponsorship agreement with the club.

Accordingly, the search for a new shirt sponsor for next season has been a priority behind the scenes.

Inter Milan Close To Identifying New Main Shirt Sponsor

The Nerazzurri may not have to wait long to get the situation sorted out, according to the Gazzetta.

The newspaper report that talks with an unnamed airline have become “advanced.”

Turkish Airlines have been linked as a possible replacement for DigitalBits during the past couple months. Meanwhile, the likes of LeoVegas, Binance, and Hisense have also been linked.

The Nerazzurri are reportedly seeking a new main sponsorship agreement worth at least €30 million. It remains to be seen if the current negotiations will result in a deal worth this much.

Inter could benefit from the fact that they are in the Champions League final in talks. Reaching the summit of Europe’s top club competition will certainly benefit the Nerazzurri’s brand.
