Matteo Darmian played a key role getting Inter Milan into the Coppa Italia final with his goal against Atalanta.
The 33-year-old’s strike was the decisive effort in that match. The Nerazzurri saw off La Dea by a 1-0 margin, and so Darmian’s excellently-taken long-range strike was just what they needed.
Now, Inter are on the verge of facing Fiorentina in the final of the competition for a major piece of silverware.
