The Belgian’s penalty was accompanied by controversy and a racism scandal.
In addition to this, however, Lukaku’s effort was massively significant insofar as it allowed the Nerazzurri to progress to the final of the competition. Now, they’re only hours away from facing Fiorentina for the trophy.
