Inter Milan President Steven Zhang has invited over five hundred employees of the club to attend the Champions League final against Man City in Istanbul next month.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInter1908. The newspaper report that the Nerazzurri President has organized a trip to the Turkish capital for all employees of the club to reward them for their efforts this season.

Inter’s run to the final of the Champions League has certainly come as a positive surprise.

The Nerazzurri have enjoyed their most positive season in Europe since winning the Champions League in 2010. They still have the chance to equal that season’s accomplishments, at least on the continent.

Given how unexpected and special the occasion is, Zhang wants to share it with all Inter employees.

The Nerazzurri President also wants to reward all the employees behind the scenes for their role in this season.

Zhang To Reward Inter Milan Employees With Trip To Man City Clash

Zhang has already done something similar this month.

The Inter President organized an all-expenses-paid trip for Inter employees to Rome to watch the Coppa Italia final.

Club employees were rewarded by getting to watch the team beat Fiorentina to lift that trophy for the second season running.

In doing so, Zhang followed in the footsteps of former Nerazzurri President Massimo Moratti.

Moratti had also brought Inter’s entire staff to the Champions League final in 2010, held in Madrid. That season, the Nerazzurri beat Bayern Munich 2-0 to secure the trophy.

Zhang will follow suite. The current Nerazzurri President has organized two charters to take over five hundred club employees to Istanbul to watch the team take on English champions Man City for a chance to end their season in glorious fashion.
