Inter Milan and Juventus have both offered a three-year contract to young Borussia Dortmund midfielder Vasco Walz.

This according to today’s print edition of Campania-based newspaper Ottopagine, via FCInterNews, who report that the Nerazzurri and the Bianconeri as well as a number of teams around Europe are interested in signing the 18-year-old.

Vasco Walz is currently only under contract with Dortmund until the end of this month.

The 18-year-old was one of the stars of the Schwarzgelben’s Under-19 team over the current season. This has attracted the attention of a number of teams.

According to Ottopagine, there is interest from other teams in the Bundesliga. In addition, clubs across Berlgium, the Netherlands, and Austria have also made offers to sign the 18-year-old.

The newspaper does not go into detail about which clubs these may be.

However, in Serie A, it is two of the very biggest clubs who have made Walz an offer. Inter and Juventus both see the young midfielder as a serious future prospect.

Inter Milan & Juventus Keen On Borussia Dortmund Starlet Walz

According to Ottopagine, whilst Walz is German by birth, his family has an Italian background.

This could represent an advantage for the Nerazzurri and the Bianconeri in their attempts to sign him over other clubs on the continent.

Ottopagine report that Walz’s family would welcome an opportunity for the player to move to Italy. Accordingly, it could be Inter and Juventus going head to head for the youngster this summer.

Ottopagine note that Walz is specifically of Campanian origin. According to the report, Walz is a signing for the Primavera team and not the first team.

This report follows other reports that Inter Primavera set up are looking to strengthen. SempreInter.com recently reported that Oliver Schmidhauser is close to sign for Inter.

An interest Schmidhauser confirmed a couple of weeks later.
