The agent of PSG wingback Achraf Hakimi has given a response to rumours that the Moroccan could make a shock return to Inter Milan.

Speaking to Italian news outlet Interdipendenza.net, Hakimi’s agent Alejandro Camano suggested that whilst the 24-year-old still loves Inter, his future would not be as simple as just being what the player wants.

Recent reports suggest that Hakimi is keen on making a shock return to Inter.

The Moroccan had left for PSG in the summer of 2021 in a massive money deal. The Nerazzurri had been essentially forced to sell the player due to financial constraints.

Hakimi’s time at Inter may have only lasted twelve months, but it was certainly not uneventful.

The wingback played a key role in the Nerazzurri winning the Serie A title during the 2020-21 season.

Hakimi made a total of 45 appearances for Inter across all competitions, scoring seven goals in the process.

According to reports, Hakimi is not altogether happy with his situation in the French capital. Accordingly, the Moroccan former Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund star could seek a move away.

Agent: PSG Star Achraf Hakimi Loves Inter, But A Return Wouldn’t Be That Simple

If Hakimi were to leave the Parc des Princes, he could well want a return to Inter.

For his part, Hakimi’s agent has confirmed that the player still feels a connection with the Nerazzurri. This could be a motivating factor, undoubtedly.

At the same time, he has also dampened the rumours.

Camano explained that “Achraf is a PSG player, with whom he still has three years left on his contract.”

Asked outright whether Hakimi would like a return to Inter, the agent replied that “It’s not about what he would like. The reality is that he is another club’s player.”

“He loves Inter,” Camano said. “He was happy in Milan. But today, the reality of the situation is what it is.”
