Young Inter Milan striker Sebastiano Esposito could have his loan with Serie A promotion hopefuls Bari renewed next season.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the 20-year-old could remain with the Puglian club next season particularly in the event that they win the promotion playoff final against Cagliari.

Young Inter striker Esposito is currently on loan with Bari.

The striker had been out on loan with Anderlecht over the first half of the current season. However, things didn’t quite work out for him in the Belgian league, particularly after he lost his place in the regular starting eleven.

Accordingly, Esposito made the switch to Serie B team Bari during the January transfer window. The 20-year-old has spent the second half of the campaign with the Puglian side.

During the period, the young Inter-owned striker has made a total of eleven league appearances for Bari. He has scored four goals in the process.

Esposito has also helped Bari to reach the Serie A promotion playoff final, after a third place finish in the table.

Inter Milan Starlet Sebastiano Esposito Could Stay Another Season With Bari In Serie A

According to the Gazzetta, another loan to Bari would hardly be out of the question for Esposito next season.

The newspaper report that the Puglians would consider bringing the Nerazzurri striker back next season. Particularly if they do manage to reach the top flight by beating Cagliari in the upcoming promotion playoff final, Bari will be keen to reinforce their squad during the summer transfer window.

Esposito, for his part, could find a longer-term home after a number of different loan spells.

Last time around, the young striker had been out on loan in Switzerland with Basel.

During the previous season, the 2020-21 campaign, Esposito had loan spells with both SPAL and Venezia in Serie B.
