Inter Milan defender Francesco Acerbi believes that the Nerazzurri can try to make a dream come true against Man City.
Speaking to Italian broadcaster RSI, via FCInterNews, the 35-year-old gave his thoughts ahead of the upcoming Champions League final.
Inter are on the verge of accomplishing something that would have looked highly improbable at the start of the current campaign.
The Nerazzurri are one match away from going all the way in Europe’s top club competition. It will be perhaps the toughest match that Inter have faced all season.
However, if they can manage to do it, they will etch their names in the history books by winning the Champions League for the fourth time in their club’s history.
Inter gave already proved their doubters wrong and put bad form behind them all season with their exploits in the Champions League.
Now, there is one more massive hurdle for them to overcome. On the other side of it is a dream come true.

Inter defender Acerbi has been an integral part of the team’s run in the Champions League this season. This came despite initial skepticism when he arrived on loan from Lazio last summer.
“I know my qualities and I knew I could give everything on the pitch,” the 35-year-old said of responding to his critics0.
“I played and tried to do something special,” he continued. “No one expected to reach the final, even if after the group stage we started to think we could do something big.”
“We will do our best to make this dream come true.”
Of coming up against City striker Erling Haaland, Acerbi said that “He’s an incredible player. He scores with every touch of the ball.”
“But he’s not the only one who can make the difference,” the 35-year-old continued. “They have players like Gundogan and Grealish.”
“They’ve been among the top clubs in the world for years, but it’s a final and we’ll fight for it.”
