Inter Milan striker feels that Man City have just as much to worry about in the Champions League final as the Nerazzurri do.

Speaking to Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, the 25-year-old sent a message to the Premier League champions ahead of the final in Istanbul next Saturday.

A lot of the talk ahead of next weekend’s Champions League final concerns how much Inter have to fear.

Certainly, this Man City side have shown how formidable they can be against any opposition. Emphatic wins against RB Leipzig, Bayern Munich, and Real Madrid in the Champions League knockouts have echoed another dominant league campaign for the Citzyens.

Accordingly, Inter will not have any illusions about what they’re up against.

However, at the same time, City will see what Inter have been able to do against strong opposition like Barcelona, Porto, Benfica, and AC Milan this season.

City cannot underestimate Inter any more than Inter can underestimate City.

Inter Striker Lautaro Martinez: Man City Must Be Wary In UCL Final

“We have to be the same as we have been in the past two months, and they have to worry about us too,” Martinez said.

“We will try to take Inter as high as possible.”

“We need to give everything for 120 minutes,” Martinez said. “From when we first get off of the coach to when the referee blows the final whistle.”

“The details will matter, they make the difference.”

“We have to be 100% in the match,” the Inter striker said. “Leave our hearts and souls out on the pitch, and be present with our heads.”

Martinez said of playing in the Champions League final that “We have to enjoy it, this isn’t a match that you play every day.”

Asked if he thinks he can hit thirty goals for the season in the Champions League final as Diego Milito did, Martinez replied with a laugh, “I’ll try to do it in training so that I can get there.”
