Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi feels that the Nerazzurri can beat Man City by sticking together.

Speaking to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews, the coach stressed unity as the thing that will be key for Inter as they seek to win the Champions League in this Saturday’s final in Istanbul.

Inter have already enjoyed an impressive run to the final.

Now they are just one match away from the most memorable of ends to a rollercoaster season.

The Nerazzurri have gotten here playing a certain way, overcoming teams like Barcelona, Porto, Benfica, and AC Milan.

Now they must stick to what’s gotten them this far if they hope to go all the way.

Inter Must Stay United Vs Man City, Inzaghi Argues

Inzaghi gave the view of City that “They’re a very strong team and we know it.”

“They’re the strongest in the world.”

“They’ve won five titles out of the last six in the Premier League, we know it’s going to be a very difficult match,” he said.

“But we’ll have to be good at covering the pitch. Despite knowing that they’re masters in possession of the ball, and that they’re a very, very good side.”

“In the next few days days, we will prepare for it in the best way possible,” Inzaghi said. “Keeping in mind that we have to stick together through it, as we’ve done on our journey so far.”

“We’ll be up against major difficulties, but as with before we can overcome them if we stick together.”

Asked if he thinks City’s Pep Guardiola is the best coach in the world, Inzaghi replied that “He is absolutely the best in the world.”

“In 2019 I met him having breakfast in New York,” he looked back. “Meeting him four years later in the Champions League final is a source of great pride.”
