Inter Milan goalkeeper André Onana had a heartfelt message for Intersti everywhere following his side’s Champions League defeat at the hands of Man City.

The Cameroonian was one of the main protagonists in the club’s glorious run towards the final. However, Rodri’s superb strike in the 68th minute was simply too good.

Nevertheless, the former Ajax man won’t succumb to despair, offering a message of hope for his club’s supporters who stood by the team during what was a rollercoaster campaign.

“We have shown that in life nothing is impossible, no matter how difficult it may seem that it is always worth fighting, and that the only battle that is lost is the one that is abandoned,” posted Onana on his personal Instagram account.

“We believed in ourselves and we were very close to touching glory. We did not touch the glory but we touched the heart of all the Interisti. We have to be proud of the season we have lived together.
