The Nerazzurri fell short in the finale as they failed to capitalize on their chances. On the other hand, Manchester City midfielder Rodri snathed the win with a powerful strike in the 68th minute.
Nevertheless, the club’s social channels asked the players to keep their heads up, using a photo of Inter goalkeeper André Onana encouraging his teammate Lautaro Martinez after the final whistle, adding the words: “Look up and be proud”, while the caption reads: “So proud of our lads”.
