Inter Milan forward Joaquin Correa is not very keen on joining Fenerbahce or any other Turkish team this summer.

This according to Italian broadcaster SportItalia, via FCInterNews, who report that the 28-year-old is the subject of interest from Turkey, but that would be far from his preferred solution regarding his future.

Joaquin Correa looks very likely to leave Inter during the summer transfer window.

Pedulla confirms this.

Whilst the Argentine arrived from Lazio with big expectations attached during the summer of 2021, he has failed to make the expected impact in his two seasons at Inter.

Injuries have played a major role in limiting Correa’s contribution and form.

Accordingly, a departure looks to be on the cards for the 28-year-old. However, what is less certain is where his next club will be.

Turkish giants Fenerbahce are reportedly interested. The Istanbul giants are among a slew of big Turkish teams who could try and sign the former Lazio, Sevilla, and Sampdoria star.

The Istanbul giants have already reportedly offered one Inter striker a contract, in the form of Edin Dzeko.

However, they may not stop there.

Fenerbahce may aim to take advantage of Correa’s situation at Inter to sign the Argentine.

Inter Forward Joaquin Correa Lukewarm On Fenerbahce & Turkish Interest

SportItalia report that Correa is not overly keen on the possibility of moving to the Turkish league.

At this stage of his career, the 28-year-old feels that even with his injury problems and erratic form for Inter, he can still play at a higher level.

Accordingly, the outlet reports, Correa is waiting to see what other possibilities open up for his future.

Since he joined from Lazio in 2021, Correa has made a total of 76 appearances for Inter across all competitions.

He has scored ten goals in a Nerazzurri shirt in the process.
