Inter Milan are reportedly interested in the services of Arsenal striker Folarin Balogun. The striker enjoyed a splendid campaign on loan in Ligue 1.

The 21-year-old made his senior international debut for the United States last night. He started in his national team’s 3-0 victory over Mexico.

Following reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport, sources in the English media are also reporting the Nerazzurri’s interest in the player.

According to Sky Sports via FcInterNews, Inter Milan are keeping tabs on Balogun and could present Arsenal with a concrete offer soon enough.

Last season, the young bomber stole the limelight with some formidable displays for Reims. He scored 21 goals in his 37 league appearances.

Balogun will now return to Arsenal in the summer but might not dwell in North London for too long.

The Nerazzurri need to bolster their frontline as several of their attackers are facing uncertain future.

Edin Dzeko could leave Appiano Gentile following the expiry of his contract. For his part, Romelu Lukaku spent the campaign at Inter on loan from Chelsea, but the two clubs will have to find a solution to resolve his future.

Even Argentine international Joaquin Correa could depart if the club were to receive a lucrative offer.

Therefore, the Nerazzurri will certainly have to make at least one addition to their attacking department. So let’s see if Balogun will be one of the profiles to join the club next summer.
