Robin Gosens is not pushing to leave Inter Milan this summer despite reported interest from Bundesliga team Union Berlin.

This according to German broadcaster Sky Sports Deutschland, via FCInterNews, who report that the Champions League new boys are very keen on making the 28-year-old their marquee arrival during summer transfer window, but that the player is happy at Inter.

Union want to bring former Atalanta wingback Gosens to the German capital.

After a surprise fourth place finish, the Bundesliga team will be playing in the Champions League for the first time in their history.

With both the increased demands of playing in Europe’s top club competition, and also the revenues from participation, Union are prepared to have an ambitious summer transfer window.

On the left flank, Union want to bring in German international Gosens.

Robin Gosens Won’t Push To Leave Inter Despite Union Links

According to Sky Deutschland, Union know that it will take around €15-20 million to convince Inter to sell Gosens.

A summer exit is hardly out of the question for the German.

Gosens joined Inter in January of 2021, but has been persistently linked with an exit ever since.

The former Atalanta man has reportedly been targeted by all of Wolfsburg, Borussia Monchengladbach, Eintracht Frankfurt, and Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga.

Despite having found more playing time at Inter in recent months, Gosens is still second-choice behind Federico Dimarco.

Accordingly, the Nerazzurri could very well listen to offers for the German.

The interest is coming in from the Bundesliga this summer. The Gazzetta confirm that Union are pushing, whilst Wolfsburg are also thinking of reigniting their pursuit.

Meanwhile, Premier League side Bournemouth have also been linked.

Union do believe that signing Gosens is a possibility for them this summer. They will make an attempt.

However, Sky Deutschland report, Inter are not currently in any hurry to sell. And the player is happy to stay and fight for his place.
