Inter Milan are tracking two Udinese players for potential summer transfers in the form of Rodrigo Becao and Rodrigo Pereyra.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews.

With the summer transfer window now in full swing, Inter are starting to look high and low for potential transfer opportunities.

Two such opportunities that the Nerazzurri are following are in the Friuli region, where two players look as though they could leave Udinese.

Inter Watching Rodrigo Becao Situation At Udinese

Inter are reportedly thinking of Friulani defender Rodrigo Becao as a possible replacement for Milan Skriniar.

The 27-year-old’s current contract with Udinese runs out at the end of next June.

However, reports suggest that the Friulani will sell the Brazilian former CSKA Moscow man before then if he doesn’t extend his deal.

Udinese do not want to risk losing Becao for free in a year’s time. Accordingly, they will see this summer as the last major opportunity to cash in for a fee.

The club’s Sporting Director Pierpaolo Marino has admitted that contract talks with Becao are stalling.

According to the Gazzetta, this is at the root of why Becao missed Udinese’s final two Serie A matches of the season.

Meanwhile, Becao’s agent Luciano Ramalho will return in Italy within a couple days. He is ready to sort out the Brazilian’s future.

Fenerbahce have reportedly offered Becao a big-money deal. However, the Turkish side are only offering Udinese €8 million to date, well below the Serie A team’s asking price for Becao.

Meanwhile, the Gazzetta report, Napoli and Lazio are also interested in Becao.

Pereyra Also A Nerazzurri Target

Becao isn’t the only Udinese player Inter are interested in this summer.

Former Watford and Juventus midfielder Roberto Pereyera sees his contract with the Friulani expire at the end of this month.

The Argentine is happy at Udinese, where he is captain.

However, the player is also thinking about joining a big club this summer. He views this as his last opportunity to play top-level European football.

Negotiations between Pereyra and Udinese are more calm than those between the Friulani and Becao.

However, a summer exit on a free transfer can hardly be ruled out for the 32-year-old. Should he decide to do so, Inter would be one of the clubs at the window to sign him.
