Young Inter Milan midfielder Niccolo Squizzato is set to join Serie C club Pescara on a permanent deal this summer.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the two clubs are just working out the percentage of future resale fees that will be owed to Inter, and then the 21-year-old will make the switch on a permanent basis.

Young Inter midfielder Squizzato spent the season just gone with Renate in Serie C.

There, the Italian made a total of 26 appearances.

With the season now finished, however, the Nerazzurri and Squizzato have been deciding on the player’s future. According to the Corriere, it looks as though the young midfielder will leave Inter on a permanent basis.

Squizzato has already went on two loans away from Inter. Renate was his second after having been at Juve Stabia during the previous season.

The 21-year-old is a graduate of Inter’s youth academy. He has played for the Nerazzurri at various youth levels up to the Primavera side.

However, now it looks as though his adventure with his boyhood club is coming to an end.

Pescara To Sign Niccolo Squizzato From Inter Milan

According to the Corriere, Pescara are the team who are ready to sign Squizzato.

The Delfini are aiming to return to Serie B after having suffered relegation to the third tier of Italian football during the 2020-21 season.

Legendary former Roma, Lazio, and Napoli coach Zdenek Zeman is currently in charge of Pescara. This is the Czech tactician’s third spell on the bench.

According to the Corriere, the talks between Inter and Pescara are all but complete.

All that is left for the two clubs to work out is the sell-on fee. The Abruzzese team would owe Inter part of any fee on a future sale of Squizzato.

The clubs will work out exactly how much. Then, Squizzato will leave Inter and join Pescara on a permanent basis.
