The agency that represents Shakhtar Donetsk goalkeeper Anatoliy Trubin has confirmed ongoing talks with Inter Milan over a potential transfer.

The Nerazzurri may end up selling star goalkeeper André Onana to Man United. Therefore, they will be looking to snatch the services of a competent replacement as soon as possible.

While several names have emerged as possible candidates, Trubin is rising through the ranks. As we reported earlier today, the 21-year-old might be the favorite to replace Onana at Appiano Gentile.

The young Ukrainian is a youth product of Shakhtar who climbed the ladder to become the club’s first choice.

While he’d have some gigantic gloves to fill at Inter Milan, the agents who represent Trubin believe he has what takes to fill them.

The “Part of the Game” agency confirmed ongoing talks between the the Nerazzurri and Shakhtar over a possible transfer.

Nevertheless, the source warns the Italian club of competition coming from the English Premier League.

“Inter have expressed their interest in Trubin,” revealed one of the goalkeeper’s agents in an interview with Inter-News.

“The negotiations are still ongoing and concern the two clubs. Moreover, two English clubs want the goalkeeper.”

On another note, the agency insists that Trubin must play as a first-choice goalkeeper at his next club.

“For us, the most important condition is that he plays as first-choice goalkeeper. Once this is defined, our client will choose his next destination. His price tag is yet to be defined.”
