Inter Milan remain in the race to sign Valencia midfielder Yunus Musah who’s also a transfer target for AC Milan.

This summer, the two Derby della Madonnina rivals have been on a collision course for several common targets. So it seems that the USMNT star will join the list.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport via FcInterNews, the Rossoneri are looking to finalize a deal for the 20-year-old, but the Nerazzurri remain in the fray.

As the source explains, at least one of the two rivals will eventually miss out on Davide Frattesi.

The Sassuolo midfielder remains a primary target for the Beneamata, but his arrival to Appiano Gentile remains anything but certain in such a complicated transfer session.

Therefore, Inter Milan are still keeping tabs on Musah who would be a perfect alternative for the Italy star.

Inter Milan Have Been Monitoring Yunus Musah Since Qatar 2022

The report adds that Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio had kept an eye on the American youngster during the 2022 World Cup.

The USMNT reached the round of 16 before bowing out of the competition against the Netherlands. The Nerazzurri director was reportedly in the stands, closely monitoring the young midfielder.

Moreover, the report claims that Valencia won’t part ways with their prized asset for less than 25 million euros.

The midfielder started his career at Arsenal’s youth academy before joining Valencia in 2019.

This season, Musah made 37 appearances across all competitions for Los Che, contributing with a couple of assists. His contract with the club runs until 2026.
