Mexican club Toluca is reportedly looking to sign forgotten Inter Milan striker Facundo Colidio.
The 23-year-old joined the Nerazzurri in 2017 at a tender age after rising through the ranks of Boca Juniors.
After spending two seasons with the club’s Primavera squad, he played for two seasons on loan at Sint-Truiden in Belgium.
In January 2022, he joined Tigre in his home country of Argentina, but his loan stint will expire this week, leaving his future in limbo.
This season, he made 28 appearances across all competitions, but only contributed with three goals and two assists.
But according to am.com.mx via FcInterNews, Toluca have presented Inter Milan with an offer for Colidio.
The Red Devils will be looking to sign the Argentine once the transfer market opens in the Mexican league.
The 23-year-old primarily plays a centre forward but he can also feature as a left winger.
Inter Milan Have Received An Offer From Toluca For Argentine Striker Facundo Colidio
The player represented Argentina at the youth levels, making four appearances for the U17 national side and 12 caps for Argentina U20, scoring four goals in the process.
However, it’s clear that Colidio hasn’t showcased enough promise to warrant a spot at Simone Inzaghi’s court.
Therefore, the two parties would do well to part ways as soon as possible. This would allow the player to try and reignite his career elsewhere.
