Raoul Bellanova will reportedly complete a transfer from Cagliari to Torino after spending last season on loan at Inter Milan.

The Nerazzurri had the option to purchase the wingback. However, they weren’t adamant about spending 7 million euros for his services.

The 23-year-old couldn’t cement himself a starting berth at Simone Inzaghi’s court last season. While his status improved by the end of the campaign, he basically served as an understudy for Denzel Dumfries on the right flank.

The Italy U21 starlet made 22 appearances across all competitions during his time with the Nerazzurri, mostly coming from the bench.

So while Inter have opted against exercising their buy option, Torino pounced on the opportunity and secured the services of Bellanova.

According to Sky Sport journalist and transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio (via FcInterNews), the Granata have reached an agreement with Cagliari for the permanent transfer of the young wingback.
