Korean Air are currently the favourites to becoming the new Inter Milan main shirt sponsor for next season.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInter1908, who also report that Wizz Air are in talks with the Nerazzurri to potentially become the club’s main shirt sponsor next season but that Korean Air are ahead of them as the favourites.

Among the many issues that Inter have been dealing with off the pitch is the question of a main shirt sponsor.

Over the last two matches of the season just gone, streaming service Paramount+ had their logo on the Nerazzurri’s shirt. This notably included the Champions League final against Manchester City.

That was only a temporary solution, however.

Inter will certainly still want to find a new permanent main shirt sponsor for next season. It will be a vital source of revenue for the club, particularly considering how last season went on the shirt sponsor front.

For more than a month last season, Inter played without a main shirt sponsor.

This came after the decision to remove the logo of cryptocurrency company DigitalBits. The Nerazzurri and Roma both removed the company’s logo due to issues with nonpayment of amounts owed this season.

This was nothing short of a debacle for the Nerazzurri.

Korean Air Favourites To Become Inter Milan Main Shirt Sponsors As Nike Want Things Moved Along

According to Tuttosport, Inter’s kit manufacturer Nike wants Inter to make a decision soon.

The apparel designed wants to put the new kits into production for the start of preseason. This cannot happen until the Nerazzurri reach a full agreement with a new main sponsor.

Inter Corporate CEO Alessandro Antonello has already confirmed that the club’s intention is certainly to have a new main shirt sponsor by the start of next season. However, Nike obviously wants things made clear well before then.

According to Tuttosport, the kit manufacturer wants it settled by the start of Inter’s preseason.

In any event, Korean Air are the favourites and Hungarian airline Wizz Air are also in the hunt. However, the process is still open.

Turkish Airlines have also been one of the names that have come up as a possible new sponsor. Meanwhile, the likes of LeoVegas, Binance, and Hisense have also been linked.
