Premier League team Bournemouth and Bundesliga duo Union Berlin and Wolfsburg all want to sign Inter Milan wingback Robin Gosens.
This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews, who report that the three all consider the 28-year-old German international to be a serious target for the summer transfer window, and that the Nerazzurri would want at least €15 million for him.
Gosens looks to be one of the players who Inter would be willing to cash in on this summer.
The German arrived from Atalanta in January of 2022. However, during the season and a half that he’s played for the Nerazzurri, he’s never replicated his best La Dea form.
Moreover, Gosens has never managed to nail down a first-choice starting role on the left flank for Inter.
In the German’s first six months at the club, Ivan Perisic had been clearly ahead of him.
At the start of the season just gone, Gosens had hoped to make the first-choice role his own. However, the emergence of Federico Dimarco as one of the Nerazzurri’s breakout stars of the campaign meant that playing time continued to be scarce.
Bournemouth, Union Berlin & Wolfsburg All Want Inter Wingback Robin Gosens
This does not mean that there isn’t transfer interest in Gosens, however.
The former Atalanta man has, in fact, shown some of his best form since joining Inter over the final weeks of last season. There is a sense that he is playing closer to his best due to injury problems being behind him.
All of Bournemouth, Union, and Wolfsburg have previously been reported to be interested in signing Gosens this summer.
And Sky confirms the interest of all three. The broadcaster reports that they consider the 28-year-old to be a serious target.
If Inter were to sell Gosens, they would want a fee of at least €15 million. This would allow them to recoup a good chunk of what they paid for the player last January.
Moreover, it would also allow the Nerazzurri to move for a like-for-like replacement. Monza’s Carlos Augusto is the player who Inter reportedly want to sign to replace Gosens.
