Inter Milan striker Facundo Colidio will reportedly complete a return to his original club, Boca Juniors.

The Nerazzurri bought the 23-year-old back in 2017. However, he never managed to carve himself a place at the club.

He spent a couple of seasons with the club’s Primavera squad before embarking on a loan spell in Belgium.

The Argentine returned to his home country in January 2022, playing on loan for Tigre. However, his temporary stint expired last week.

But according to TYC Sports via FcInterNews, Colidio could remain in Argentine as Boca Juniors and Inter have reached an accord.

The source claims that the South American giants have secured a deal worth 5 million dollars. The Nerazzurri will also receive a certain cut from a future sale.

As the report explains, Toluca tried to lure the bomber to Mexico but their attempts were to no avail.

Boca Juniors and Corinthians then lunged forward, but it was the Xeneizes who would reach an accord with the Italian giants.

On the contrary, River Plate never presented a concrete offer for the young attacker.

Now it’s up for the striker to decide whether he’d like to finalize his return to La Bombonera or seek an alternative solution.

This season, Colidio has only contributed with three goals and two assists across all competitions.

The player also holds Italian citizenship which would facilitate a transfer to a European club. But it seems that the interest in the player remains minimal in the Old Continent.
