Sassuolo CEO Giovanni Carnevali has just confirmed the sale of Davide Frattesi to Inter Milan. He revealed that the parties have now signed the contract.

While the agreement between the Nerazzurri and the Neroverdi has been a foregone conclusion in recent days, the confirmation has finally arrived thanks to Carnevali.

The Sassuolo executive reveals that they have now signed a deal just moments ago.

As we reported yesterday, the two clubs scheduled a meeting on Wednesday to finalize the accord. Thankfully for the Nerazzurri, the white smoke has emerged.

Carnevali confirms that Frattesi has now signed his contract with Inter Milan. He will become the club’s new midfielder, replacing Marcelo Brozovic, albeit with different characteristics.

“Yes, it’s done, he signed a while ago,” confirmed the Neroverdi official while leaving Inter’s headquarters as reported by FcInterNews.

“We are absolutely happy. Tt certainly wasn’t easy because there were so many interesting clubs.

“But with Inter, it ended in the best possible way for us but also for the player who gave his preference for the Nerazzurri.”

Sassuolo CEO Giovanni Carnevali Say Davide Frattesi Has Signed For Inter Milan

Carnevali also confirmed that Inter Milan-owned striker Samuele Mulattieri is heading in the opposite direction.

“We were already having separate talks for Samuele Mulattieri. He is a young man we believe in. We think he’s a great signing for Sassuolo, one who fits our project.”

“As for Frattesi, he’s a young, Italian, with different characteristics from other players. Inter made a great signing and I’m convinced that they will know how to make the most out of him because he’s a huge talent.”
