Inter Milan goalkeeper André Onana has reportedly held a meeting with Man Utd representatives in Amsterdam to discuss his imminent transfer.

The Red Devils have identified the Cameroonian as the ideal replacement for their longtime serving custodian David De Gea. Man United boss Erik ten Hag is desperate to reunite with his old pupil from his Ajax days.

On Friday, the Premier League giants have made significant advancements in their pursuit, gradually raising their offers for the 27-year-old.

Their latest bid was in the region of 60 million euros. This could be enough to sway the Nerazzurri.

According to Sky Sport via FcInterNews, Onana held a meeting with Man United representatives to iron out the details in his incoming contract.

In the meantime, the Nerazzurri are awaiting one last onslaught from the English side which should be enough to put the deal over the finish line.

With the former Ajax man heading to Old Trafford, Inter will be looking to replace with the Anatoliy Trubin.

The 21-year-old has cemented himself as the first choice for both Shakhtar Donetsk and the Ukrainian national team.

The Italians are hoping to poach him with on a bargain price of 10 million euros. The young custodian’s contract expires in 2024.

The Nerazzurri would like to pair Trubin with the more experienced Yann Sommer. The latter has become surplus to requirements at Bayern Munich following Manuel Neuer’s return.
