Inter Milan are the verge of selling André Onana to Man Utd before reinvesting the sum on four new players.

As we reported earlier, the Nerazzurri and the Red Devils are very close to reaching a final agreement for the goalkeeper’s transfer.

Sky Sport 24 (via FcInterNews) confirms the statement, expecting the two clubs to finalize the transfer sooner rather than later.

While Inter insist on collecting 60 million euros from the Cameroonian’s sale, the Premier League club is gradually lifting its offers.

The source claims that United’s latest offer reached 52 million euros. Therefore, the two sides should settle on a compromised figure.

After closing the agreement, Inter will embark on a spending spree that could see new signings arrive at Appiano Gentile.

The Nerazzurri will have to revamp the entire goalkeeping department. Besides Onana’s departure, Samir Handanovic and Alex Cordaz are also leaving the club following the expiry of their contracts.

Inter Milan Will Spend The Sum Collected From The Sale Of André Onana On Four New Signings

Therefore, Inter will swoop in for three new shot-stoppers. The first will be Shakhtar Donetsk’s 21-year-old custodian Anatoliy Trubin. The club will be hoping to secure his services for 10 million euros.

The Ukrainian’s reliable backup could be Yann Sommer. Bayern Munich would ask for 6 million to part ways with the 34-year-old.

Inter youth product Raffaele Di Gennaro could return to the club as a third-choice goalkeeper. The 29-year-old currently plays for Serie C side AS Gubbio.

In addition to the three goalkeepers, Inter would also use the fresh funds to secure the signing of Romelu Lukaku from Chelsea.

The Belgian returned to the club last season on a dry loan, but all parties are hoping to reach an accord that extends the striker’s time at the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium.
