Inter Milan and Man United will continue talks for Andre Onana today.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the two clubs are looking to wrap up the deal for the 27-year-old in the next few days as the Premier League club prepare an offer worth more than €50 million.

As things stand, Onana is still an Inter player.

However, he may not be for much longer.

With both Inter and Manchester United just a few days away from kicking off their respective preseasons, both clubs want to move fast on a deal for the Cameroonian former Ajax star.

For Inter’s part, it is looking increasingly likely that Onana will play no part in preseason preparations.

On the one hand, if there is still no agreement with United, then he would probably still show up to the start of the Nerazzurri’s preseason training camp tomorrow.

On the other, the Nerazzurri would have little intention of involving a player who they no for a fact won’t be at the club next season.

Accordingly, if a deal with United is imminent, then Onana will likely be excused from the start of Inter’s preseason.

And United, for their part, will want the Cameroonian in the squad for, at the latest, the start of their preseason tour of the US.

Inter Milan & Man United Begin Decisive Andre Onana Talks Today

For both clubs, time is of the essence in talks for Onana.

Neither party have any motivation to drag their heels in negotiations. And the player, for his part, would also obviously like clarity on his future.

Therefore, today there will be more talks between Inter and United.

The Red Devils could formally table an offer worth in excess of €50 million.

If United’s offer does meet and exceed that benchmark, then there will be little more to do.

Inter should quickly accept a bid of that size, and then Onana can make the move officially. The Cameroonian will be wearing the United shirt for the start of next season rather than the Inter one.
