Inter Milan have scheduled the medicals for ex-Juventus wingback Juan Cuadrado tomorrow ahead of his move.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews, who report that the 35-year-old will arrive in Milan this evening and then wrap up his move tomorrow.

Inter have decided to bring Cuadrado in as a short-term reinforcement on the right flank for next season.

It’s a transfer that seemed like a real bombshell when the report of the deal being close emerged yesterday evening.

Few had predicted that the Colombian would consider a move to the Nerazzurri. Or that Inter would want to sign the player who’d just spent eight seasons at Juventus.

According to Sky, however, the reality is that the move has been in the works for a while.

Whilst the Nerazzurri have also looked into other right-wingback options, Cuadrado has been on their radar long before yesterday.

Sky reports that the talks between Inter and Cuadrado’s agent have been ongoing for quite some time, in fact.

The result is that the Colombian is ready to sign a one-year deal on a free transfer. And he will waste no time in doing so – Cuadrado is on his way to Milan according to Sky.

Juan Cuadrado Already Set For Inter Milan Medicals Tomorrow

According to Sky, this evening Cuadrado will arrive in Milan. There, he will start settling in.

And then tomorrow will be the day for the veteran wingback, who has also played for the likes of Fiorentina, Chelsea, Udinese, and Lecce, to undergo his medicals.

Then there will be little else left. Cuadrado can sign his deal and become an Inter player.

Given that the Colombian’s contract with the Bianconeri expired at the end of the month, his signing will be straightforward.

Inter identified Cuadrado as an opportunity some time ago, and now they’re moving swiftly.
