The agent of Inter Milan forward Joaquin Correa has denied that there are any offers for the 28-year-old from Saudi Pro League clubs.

Speaking to Italian news outlet TuttoMercatoWeb, the 28-year-old’s representative Alessandro Lucci put the breaks on links between the player and Saudi Arabia a bit.

In recent days, reports have emerged suggesting that Correa could consider a move to the Saudi Pro League.

This could prove to be a significant development regarding the 28-year-old’s future.

One thing that looks certain is that Inter would be willing to listen to offers for Correa. Having joined from Lazio in the summer of 2021, the Argentine has never really made the impact expected of him.

Injuries in particular have played a role in disrupting Correa’s momentum since he joined Inter.

However, there would be a big question surrounding whether or not any teams in Europe would be willing to make an offer. Correa’s struggles for form would certainly be cause for many clubs to wonder and worry.

Agent Of Inter Milan’s Joaquin Correa Cools Saudi Pro League Speculation

There is one league that has not shown any issue in going after unwanted players from Europe. Namely, the Saudi Pro League.

This summer has seen big spending from the Saudi Pro League. The transfer business of the biggest clubs in the league has  concentrated on big names players from European leagues.

Therefore, it is perhaps only natural that Correa would be one player on such clubs’ radars.

And some reason reports have suggested that, after an initial reluctance, Correa is starting to open up to the possibility of moving to the Saudi Pro League.

Correa’s agent Lucci was asked about the matter outside Inter’s headquarters.

He replied, “Let’s wait and see what happens.”

“For now there are no offers,” the agent added regarding Saudi interest in Correa.
