Inter Milan have marked Lautaro Martinez and Nicolò Barella as untouchable in the face of rumored interest from mega-rich suitors.
The Italian midfielder and the Argentine striker might be the most prized assets at the club. They have been leading Inter’s charge for several years.
Therefore, they have reportedly attracted the interest of both European and Arab suitors.
Based yesterday’s reports, Manchester City have identified Barella as the favorite target to replace Bernardo Silva in case the latter joins Paris Saint-Germain.
City manager Pep Guardiola is reportedly willing to splash 120 million euros for the services of the Euro 2020 winner.
On the other hand, an unnamed Saudi Pro League club is reportedly offering Martinez a four-year deal. This would see him collect 240 million euros in total.
But according to SportMediaset via FcInterNews, Inter Milan deems both players non-transferable. The Nerazzurri aren’t willing to deprive themselves of the services of either star.
In recent years, the club sold the likes of Romelu Lukaku and Achraf Hakimi for lucrative amounts.

The trend continued this summer with the departure of Andre Onana. The goalkeeper completed a transfer to Man United for more than 50 million euros.
But while these sales allowed the club to register significant capital gains, it left the fans concerned.
Thus, considering Martinez and Barella untouchable would be massive relief for both head coach Simone Inzaghi and the club’s supporters.
Both players have contracts until the summer of 2026 having signed extensions in 2021.
