Inter Milan will be able to count on the services of Juan Cuadrado during the upcoming Japan pre-season tour.

The Colombian completed an unforeseen transfer to the Nerazzurri earlier this week after ending an eight-year collaboration with Juventus.

Simone Inzaghi’s men are now packing their bags as they prepare to take the flight to Japan.

The Nerazzurri will travel for a promotional summer tour which will also include two friendly tests.

Inter will take on Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr in Osaka on July 27 before clashing heads with Paris Saint-Germain in Tokyo on the 1st of August.

Luckily for Cuadrado, he’ll be able to join his teammates on tour. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport via FcInterNews, the club managed to sort out all paperwork in a record time.

Therefore, the 35-year-old will be eligible to travel to the Land of the Rising Sun. He should also relish the chance to take on his former Juventus teammate Ronaldo on the pitch.

Inter Milan Manager Simone Inzaghi Will Be Able To Count On New Signing Juan Cuadrado During Japan Tour

“La Vespa” signed a one-year contract with the Beneatama. Barring any twists, he should act as an understudy to Denzel Dumfries on the right flank in Inzaghi’s 3-5-2 formation.

So while the Inter Milan manager will be pleased to have the Colombian on board, his squad still requires some enhancing.

As the source explains, Inzaghi still doesn’t have a first-choice or a second-fiddle goalkeeper at his disposal following the departures of Andre Onana and Samir Handanovic.

Moreover, the club is yet to find a replacement for Romelu Lukaku after burning all bridges with the Belgian striker.
