Roma are reportedly leading the race for Alvaro Morata which also includes Inter Milan and Juventus.

According to Il Corriere dello Sport via FcInterNews, Giallorossi manager José Mourinho has instructed his club to go all-in for the Spain international.

The Romans are searching the market for a new centre-forward to replace the injured Tammy Abraham.

The report adds that Roma have already found an agreement with the 30-year-old on personal terms. However, they still have to reach an accord with Atletico Madrid.

The Spanish capital side doesn’t want to let the striker leave for a low figure, even though his contract expires in 2024.

Roma Are Leading The Race To Sign Inter Milan and Juventus Target Alvaro Morata

But with Roma in the lead, Inter Milan might have to resort to other options. The Nerazzurri are currently seeking a new attacker.

The club parted ways with Edin Dzeko following the expiry of his contract. On the other hand, the Italian giants decided to end talks with Romelu Lukaku due to his controversial behavior.

The Beneamata have already signed Marcus Thuram on a free transfer. However, this remains insufficient.

So if Inter Milan end up missing out on Morata, they might turn to Folarin Balogun as an alternative option.

The 22-year-old is an Arsenal striker who shined last season while representing Stade Reims on loan.
