Ex-Inter Milan Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku is waiting for an offer from Juventus, and has no interest in joining Al-Hilal.

This according to Italian broadcaster SportMediaset, via FCInterNews, who report that the Belgian’s priority is now to make the move to the Bianconeri, and that he is not considering a massive money switch to the Saudi Pro League.

It would be an understatement to say that Lukaku’s situations has become a soap opera this summer.

At the centre of it all has been the Belgian’s apparent negotiations with Juventus. These came whilst Inter had been in talks with Chelsea to sign the player on a permanent basis for next season.

Every club has had its own agenda, whilst the aim of the player has been hard to discern at times.

But what is now very clear is that Inter will not be signing Lukaku. The Nerazzurri had come close.

Inter had been ready to shake hands with Chelsea on a fee for the 30-year-old. This would have seen the Blues offload a player who’s completely out of their project for a substantial cash offer.

And for Inter, it would bring back a player who they had hoped would be a key piece of a Serie A title challenge next season.

Romelu Lukaku Wants Juventus – Not Interested In Al-Hilal

But then Juventus came onto the scene and, evidently, turned Lukaku’s head.

When Inter found out that the 30-year-old and his agents had been seriously discussing personal terms with the Bianconeri, they pulled the plug on their own pursuit of the player. And they did so abruptly and angrily.

This left Lukaku and Chelsea searching for a new solution for his future. Just as it left Inter searching for a new striker themselves.

Obviously Juventus would seem to be a logical destination for Lukaku under the circumstances.

But a move by the Bianconeri for the striker is no guarantee. First, they would have to offload Dusan Vlahovic.

But for his part, Lukaku is waiting and hoping. He is still ready to join Juventus, and has made them the priority according to Mediaset.

Then there is Al-Hilal. The Saudi club have been keen on making Lukaku a marquee signing this summer.

The Belgian had resisted Al-Hilal’s offer whilst Inter had been working to sign him, however. And, Mediaset reports, the Nerazzurri withdrawing their interest doesn’t change the Belgian’s stance.

Now he wants to join Juventus. Lukaku is not thinking about Al-Hilal.

Chelsea, on the other hand, have always hoped to offload the striker to the Saudi club. This is because they would offer the highest cash fee to buy him.

However, Mediaset note, Chelsea will also be nervous about the possibility of Al-Hilal signing Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe for a truly gargantuan €300 million sum.

That would almost certainly cause them to lose interest in Lukaku/
