There is zero truth to rumours linking Paris Saint-Germain and France forward Kylian Mbappe to Inter Milan.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who put to rest some rumours that have bubbled up regarding the possibility of the Nerazzurri taking advantage of the 24-year-old’s unsettled situation at PSG by trying to loan him.

The past few days have seen a real flurry of activity and rumours surrounding French superstar Kylian Mbappe and PSG.

The 2018 World Cup winner is currently a PSG player, under contract until the end of next June.

However, it has been widely reported that the 24-year-old has informed the Parisians that he has no intention of extending his deal. This despite the fact that there is an option in his contract to do so.

Therefore, Mbappe could theoretically leave on a free transfer in twelve months’ time.

Naturally, PSG would not want to lose a player of Mbappe’s quality for nothing. Reports suggest that they therefore want to sell him this summer.

Mbappe-Inter Rumours Nothing More Than Unrealistic Paper Talk

Mbappe’s situation in the French capital has led to plenty of rumours about what could be next for the superstar forward.

All signs point to PSG trying to move him on this summer unless he has a change of heart and extends his deal.

However, as FCIN notes, the player is reportedly keen to stay for one more season. Then, next summer he could join Real Madrid without a transfer fee.

Los Blancos have been persistently linked with Mbappe for years now. They would reportedly be ready to pay Mbappe and his representatives a sign-on bonus as high as €100 million, in addition to a massive salary.

On the other hand, PSG reportedly want to sell Mbappe to Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal. The Saudi team could pay the French champions a big transfer fee, as well as astronomical wages to the player.

Then, Mbappe could get his move to Real Madrid next summer. Meanwhile, PSG would cash in rather than losing their superstar player for nothing.

However, some other rumours have come up. Many clubs, these vague rumours suggest, might well try their hand at an improbable move for Mbappe now that his future looks so up in the air.

One club for whom a signing of Mbappe would be unlikely is Inter. The Nerazzurri’s financial situation is well-known, and would not make signing the 24-year-old easy, to put it very mildly.

That has not stopped one or two rumours from emerging. Particularly from French media, there are suggestions that Inter are among the teams looking at Mbappe. The idea is that they could try for a loan move of some kind.

According to FCIN, however, there is absolutely no relationship between these rumours and reality.

Inter’s directors are focused on getting realistic business done. From within the club, no one is sparing a thought on a target as unrealistic as Mbappe.
