Kristjan Asllani feels that his Inter Milan teammates are the best players that he’s ever had the chance to play alongside.

Speaking in a press conference during the team’s preseason tour of Japan, as reported by FCInterNews, the 21-year-old Albanian international also gave his thoughts on the Nerazzurri’s tour so far.

Asllani joined Inter from Empoli last summer.

The Albanian had shone in just a few months as a regular starter for Empoli.

The Tuscan side have a reputation as one of Italy’s best at developing young talents. Therefore, Asllani had opportunities to play alongisde many other top young talents.

But when the Albanian made the move to Inter, it was a much different environment.

The Nerazzurri squad is full of players who have already developed, with experience and trophies under their belts.

Kristjan Asllani On Inter Milan Teammates

Asked who he considers the best players he’s played with, Asllani replied that “I’m lucky to play with some great midfielders.”

“So I’m going to have to say my teammates in midfield.”

“And I’d tell them exactly that,” the 21-year-old added.

Since joining Inter, Asllani has gotten the chance to play alongside the likes of Nicolo Barella and Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

Last season, the Albanian had Marcelo Brozovic as a role model. And next season, he’ll play alongside another younger midfielder in the form of Davide Frattesi.
