Inter Milan new signing Davide Frattesi expressed his contentment after finding the back of the net in the friendly against Al-Nassr.

The Nerazzurri are currently in Japan for a pre-season tour. On Thursday, they took on the Saudi Pro League side for their first of two friendly encounters.

The contest held in Osaka ended in a 1-1 draw. Abdulrahman Ghareeb opened the scoring in favor of Cristiano Ronaldo and company in the 23rd minute.

Nonetheless, Frattesi found the equalizer for the Serie A giants just before the end of the first half.

The Italians then pushed for the winner in the second period, but their finishing let them down.

But for his part, Frattesi was pleased with his goal, describing scoring the equalizer it as a “great feeling”.

“It’s certainly a great feeling to have scored. I’m happy that I managed to equalize for the team,” said the Italy international in his post-match interview with Inter TV via FcInterNews.

“But this is only July football so it doesn’t count for much. We hope to collect good results when the league starts.”

The former Sassuolo man explains how difficult it was to play in the scorching temperatures.

“It’s not easy to play in these temperatures, not even for a short while. It’s incredibly hot, on TV you don’t realize how hot it is.

“We’re still in the middle of pre-season. Our condition isn’t at its best, but in my opinion, we did well, we had several chances to score.”

Finally, Frattesi would like to end the Japan tour with a victory over Paris Saint-Germain next Tuesday.

“It will be another tough match like this one. We must be prepared. We should try to end this experience here in Japan in the best possible way, perhaps by achieving victory”.
